MDG is dedicated to serving not just its customers, but the global community as a whole. As such, MDG takes an active role in providing funds and resources for numerous activities and organizations, working alongside the rest of our communities to address some of the most important needs facing the world today. The Steve Nash Foundation
MDG has worked with the Steve Nash Foundation since 2005 to endow select Canadian schools with fully equipped MDG computer labs, and to empower children in their personal development, education and enjoyment of life.
Formed in 2001 and given charitable status in 2004, the Steve Nash Foundation is an organization dedicated to assisting underserved children in their health, personal development, education and enjoyment of life. Like its NBA MVP founder, the Foundation is fast becoming a leader in assists . . . to a slightly shorter population. For more information, visit http://www.stevenash.org/.

Canada Post Literacy Awards
MDG has sponsored the Canada Post Literacy Awards since 2004 to honour individuals, organizations and businesses doing commendable work to improve reading and writing skills in Canada. Each year, winners in the Individual Achievement and Educator categories receive a fully-equipped MDG computer.
The Canada Post Literacy Awards program recognizes the contributions and accomplishments of Canadian businesses, literacy organizations, educators and learners in overcoming the barriers to literacy. Launched in 1993, the awards are open to individuals and organizations participating in, or affiliated with, a recognized literacy program in Canada and are presented in several locations throughout the country during September and October. Ongoing Contributions to Local Schools & Charities
Throughout the year, MDG works with various local schools and charities to support them in their continued efforts of raising literacy awareness and promoting education and skills training. MDG believes that if people are given the resources they need, they can accomplish great things. Whether it's a donation of software, new or refurbished computers, or a fully-equipped wireless notebook lab, it is MDG's goal to empower youth to in local communities to realize their potential and enable opportunities through access to technology and enhancing learning.
